Name your go-to shoe. Mine are hands down my black and white, classic Jack Purcell’s. I wear them on a casual day out or when I’m going for stylish comfort.

 

Even on day like this where a v-neck, couture blazer, and dark denim were all I needed for errands around Brooklyn (which is becoming its lively summertime self by the day).

For the longest time I would look at girls wearing maxi dresses with a longing and a jealousy because I had yet to find one that worked for me. Enter in faithful H&M where I snagged this thick, jersey maxi a couple months ago. It hugs the curves without being too clingy and is short enough for me! Because at 5’4 most long dresses tend to be overwhelming. I must go back and get 5 more. Hahaha. These sandals, which you saw here on instagram, were a quick come up from the go to spot — Forever 21. Head over get yourself some foot jewelry too.

On Trend: Black + White

Black and white is set to be a spring staple; seen on many a runway and donned by more than a few celebs I knew I had to scoop up these haute pants when I first saw them. The only thing that made them better was the price! Who can beat a $7 pant?! Call me Queen of Bargains, I’ll wear the title proudly.

Lady Wears The Blues

I typically am not a person who wears blue, I just never felt like it looked good against my skin. But yesterday I was in a denim inspired mood and pulled these blues together for an easy day look. Nothing better than distressed jeans and simple blouse. A way to make sure your holey pants don’t look tacky is to pair them with a snazzy pair of shoes and a more than casual top. It will take what could look unkempt into chic in a snap!

Easter Flowers

I’ve been in a floral kind of mood lately – dresses, shirts, pants et al. All I have left to find is a cute blazer to round out the group. I picked up this dress at Nordie Rack a couple weeks ago for a whopping $10!! From one of my favorite lines, Lush, who never ceases to come out with some thing I need.

I am a proponent of mixing patterns and with florals so many things work. Don’t be afraid to pair your favorite flower frocks with something polka dotted or striped.

An Easy Day

I have never been one for t-shirt dresses because I didn’t think they were flattering, but when I scooped this number up my mind was changed. For an easy day at the park this dress was the perfect choice. Great compliment for brown skin oranges, fuchsias, and a hint of leopard work in tandem for FLYY success. Just excuse my ashy ankles, it was so dry out the sun stole my moisture! OOP! hahahaha

I’m a huge fan of all white ensembles, they look clean, sleek, and give an heir of polish that screams class.
