Fall has crept up on us again and honestly since this summer wasn’t that hot to begin with, I’m ready. Normally I anticipate the weather staying warm until about mid-October but the earlier beginning to a cooler season excites me. I will say I am not sartorially ready AT ALL. I need long sleeved shirts, a new leather jacket, and boots. Definitely boots. I haven’t seen a pair that have tickled my fancy just yet but I know they’re out there. Also I have this strange longing for a cool snapback! Paired with a leather skirt and ankle booties, just the right amount of sass and class. Take a look below for a few items that are on my wish list this time around.
All item prices and descriptions can be found on Polyvore over on my profile, take time to follow over there!
Trends come and go but there’s one that I have wanted to get behind for some time. As a short stack I have to be careful about clothes that can overwhelm my small frame. Luckily one of our favorite fashion spots, H&M had just what I needed. I wanted to share how I styled my boyfriend jeans! You can follow us on Pinterest and Polyvore for even more of our collages!
Boyfriend jeans give off a very relaxed look so you have to be mindful about what to wear with them so you don’t look like a complete slob! A sheer tunic or slouchy sweaters can be great if paired with a pair heels. Strappy or pointy toe which are coming back around. To stick with a casual look go with a crop top and cute sandals.
All the details of items can be found on Polyvore! Have fun with this trend, I do.
I am a believer in the mixing of patterns, it is my gospel. Do it right and I shall praise you. Misstep and it’s back to the closet for you. Try a polka dot as your base, it’s usually kept simple with two colors and when you get adventurous add a pattern that looks like it was meant for your grandmother’s pocketbook. Go forth and flourish!

For the longest time I would look at girls wearing maxi dresses with a longing and a jealousy because I had yet to find one that worked for me. Enter in faithful H&M where I snagged this thick, jersey maxi a couple months ago. It hugs the curves without being too clingy and is short enough for me! Because at 5’4 most long dresses tend to be overwhelming. I must go back and get 5 more. Hahaha. These sandals, which you saw here on instagram, were a quick come up from the go to spot — Forever 21. Head over get yourself some foot jewelry too.

Black and white is set to be a spring staple; seen on many a runway and donned by more than a few celebs I knew I had to scoop up these haute pants when I first saw them. The only thing that made them better was the price! Who can beat a $7 pant?! Call me Queen of Bargains, I’ll wear the title proudly.

I CHOPPED MY CROP!! I will say I feel great, my goal was to grow my hair waist length but realized I was striving for a goal that I truly didn’t want. I love my hair short and will probably keep it this way for a while.
don’t worry I won’t be wearing my hair straight, it is currently curly and I will take pictures soon!

I wore this outfit a couple weeks ago at church and was asked by some readers to showcase it on the blog (s/o to Karen & Kandis, thanks for reading girls!). I’m a huge fan of all white ensembles, they look clean, sleek, and give an heir of polish that screams class. Fur on anything is always win, I picked this one up at Urban Outfitters for a whopping $10. *tootsie roll*
A deal and fur, what could be better?

I’m going to be honest I love a great sweater and I often find myself wanting to wear them especially after all kinds of dope inspirational images pop up on Pinterest but truth is it’s a tad difficult to do when you’re a top heavy girl. For fear of not wanting to look like I’m going to bust or just like my chest is a part of my chin, I steer clear. Yet I still long for a chunky knit on these cold dreary days, above are a few I’d pick for my closet.
