Naturally FLYY…How To Do An Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse

Hey there FLYY people, it’s time for another Naturally FLYY “How to…”! In the natural hair circle there are plenty of rituals that folks use to make sure their hair is as up to par as possible. For some that’s deep conditioning, finger detangling, protective styling and apple cider vinegar rinses (ACV).

I am a fan of these rinses primarily because I do not use shampoo often. In an effort not to leave my tresses stripped of their necessary oils I only use shampoo about twice a month and co-wash every other day. On days I wash with shampoo I typically incorporate an ACV rinse to ensure all the residue from any products I’ve been using is thoroughly removed from my scalp & strands. Following the directions below will help you be able to conduct an ACV effectively. Feel free to use whatever products* are best for you, remember every person is different!
*Bragg is typically the go-to ACV because it is organic.

Incorporating an ACV rinse into your regimen can help define your curls, keep your scalp free of product buildup, and works for those wearing their straight or curly. Let us know how the ACV rinse works for you and any other questions we can answer, we’re here to help!!

stay FLYY. live FLYYER.
