Pharrell, music mogul and designer of two successful clothing labels, expresses himself effortlessly through his sense of personal style. I’ve always admired his unique flare because it doesn’t seem forced. According to him, “It’s how you feel when you wake up in the morning, where your head is and what the weather’s going to be like. If you follow those three things, you’ll always be true to yourself and your intention will be transparent. That’s what I love. I love when things are transparent, free and clear of all inhibition and judgement.” (Read more: http://www.askmen.com/fashion/interview/pharrell-williams-interview.html#ixzz2H6ePCKqQ)
I remember in high school when the Ice Cream brand first went mainstream and everyone was a fanatic about it. Girls, guys; everyone. Not to mention Pharrell is some kind of stud muffin for an almost 40 yr old. It was then that he entered my radar and has since become one of the men that I look up to for fashion inspiration. With his newer label Billionaire Boys Club, which now has flagship in New York’s Soho, Pharrell is broadening his horizons to a bit more mature crowd. Although he’ll always be Skateboard P to me.
Now Pharrell is teaming up with one of fashion’s best menswear designers Mark McNairy to create Bee Line for Billionaire Boys Club. It’s like preppy streetwear. The two both display immaculate taste so this collab is sure to be a great!
